Baked Brie with Duck, Cranberries, Maple and Pecans

Ingrédients

  • 1 package shredded duck
  • 1 Brie cheese
  • 1 French shallot, chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
  • 250 ml (1 cup) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) maple syrup
  • 125 ml (½ cup) coarsely chopped pecans
  • A few sprigs fresh rosemary
  • Salt and pepper

Préparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Place Brie in suitable baking dish. Then, place it in oven for about ten minutes, depending on size.

  3. Add the oil to a saucepan and sweat shallots. Add the cranberries, pecans, duck meat, rosemary, maple syrup, salt and pepper.

  4. Remove the Brie from the oven, top with the duck mixture and garnish with a little more rosemary.

  5. Serve warm with slices of toasted bread or crackers.
