The holidays are fast approaching, and that means we’ll soon be gathering around fabulous meals. If you\u2019re entertaining this year, no need to stress out! We’ll take care of the menu for you, from hors d\u2019oeuvres to desserts!<\/em><\/p>\n

A Welcoming Bite<\/strong><\/p>\n

To start the evening on a good note and give everyone time to arrive, nothing beats a festive aperitif! Welcome your guests with a sparkling cocktail like a French 75 [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], a Kir Royale [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] with a locally made fruit liqueur [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], or simply with a glass of sparkling wine, like Champagne or Cava. All these drinks are best paired with our duo of duck bacon bites [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], which are perfect to eat with a glass in hand!<\/p>\n

First Course: Cold Appetizer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time to eat! With every guest arrived, the presents stacked under the tree and the wet boots put in the bath, we gather in the dining room and begin with a delicious layered salad [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>]. A fruity and vibrant [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] or delicate and light [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] white wine, such as a Viognier [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], will bring out the tangerine flavours in the salad . You could also opt for a Gewurztraminer [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], whose spicy notes are a perfect match for the curry vinaigrette.<\/p>\n

Second Course: Warm Appetizer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Warm up your guests with a second appetizer! We suggest a fruity and cheesy gourmet toast [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] to share, accompanied by a glass of ros\u00e9 wine! Opt for a fruity and medium-bodied wine [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], whose flavours complement the combination of shredded duck and grilled peaches. Who said ros\u00e9 wine was only good for summer?<\/p>\n

Third Course: Main Dish<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s get down to business with the main course! With our recipe for roasted duck legs [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>], the whole table will be delighted, we promise! This sublime combination of juicy duck meat and cooked fruit, enhanced by a sweet and salty maple sauce, will pair wonderfully with an aromatic and supple red wine [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] with slightly spicy notes, such as a Grenache [\u203a\u203a\u203a<\/a>] or Sangiovese-based cuv\u00e9e [\u203a\u203a\u203a].<\/p>\n
