Job:
Area manager – food service
Ontario (Toronto Area)

Reporting to Business Development Managers and for a customer base dedicated to food services, the person monitors sales activities, promotional activities and marketing, in accordance with the objectives and budget orientations set.

The person must evaluate and propose business opportunities in addition to prospecting for new customers in order to increase sales and positioning of the brand.

She also needs to ensure representation with customer users (restaurants, hotels, chains, catering, etc.) while working to develop a business relationship committed to the brand;

She provides an excellent customer service focused on customer needs while providing support and advice on product portfolio, marketing strategies, product features or enhancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Develop and implement the strategies necessary to achieve the objectives set for dedicated customers (volumes, profitability, profits) in compliance with the rules surrounding the execution of sales programs and the given guidelines;

Provide sales analysis (volume, profitability, profits) to identify areas at risk, gaps, opportunities for improvement or development and provide the necessary corrective actions;

Ensuring the negotiations with the customers in the respect of the budgets, programs and orientations given, including the respect of the sales prices and the terms of payment;

Achieving sales and prospecting targets for client users according to identified objectives;

Developing for distributors and customer-users marketing and product development solutions with a view to market development and brand positioning;

Provide training and technical support to representatives of distributors and customer users in order to develop their knowledge of the product portfolio, the particularities of the products or their development;

Represent the Company at various promotional events and trade shows;

Track complaints and see to customer satisfaction

Work closely with all of our internal partners to ensure order fulfillment and sales commitments;

Stay abreast of new consumer trends, the release of innovative or innovative products that meet an established or growing customer need;

 

 

REQUIRED PROFILE

REQUIREMENTS


College or university degree (preferably in business management or marketing);

3 years of representation experience for the food processing industry ideally in the management of distributors, food services or the retail market (meat or fresh products);

Knowledge of usual computer tools;

Proficiency in oral and written French and English;

Excellent organization and work planning;

Possess skills in analyzing sales results and financial analysis

Be available to travel within the territory;
