We have the job for you

Reporting to the National Sales Manager and for specific national accounts, the candidate we are looking for must have the ability to plan, organize, direct and control sales activities, promotional and marketing activities in accordance with objectives and budget orientations.

Able to practice sound management in order to maintain, advance and develop business relationships in the markets and with customers that are assigned promoting growth.

Must have a good analytical view of markets in order to identify, evaluate and propose business opportunities in addition to prospecting new customers in order to increase sales and brand awareness.

Finally, the candidate must ensure an excellent customer service, focused on their needs as well as offering knowledge and support on the product portfolio, marketing strategies and product specifications.

 

Responsibilities

The person will, among other:

  • Participate in the process of determining the annual budget and its periodic reviews;
  • Monitor and analyze sales results (volume, profitability, profits) to identify risks, gaps, opportunities for improvement and development;
  • Develop and implement the strategies necessary to achieve the objectives set for his/her sector (volumes, profitability, profits);
  • Provide representation to the assigned customers in a quest to develop a commitment towards brand loyalty;
  • Create marketing and product development solutions for customers with a view to increase the market and brand awareness;
  • Sustain effective negotiations in compliance with the budgets, programs and guidelines with respect to sales prices and terms of payment;
  • Work in close collaboration with other departments to ensure compliance with orders and sales commitments;
  • Track complaints and see to the satisfaction of the clients;
  • Coordinate marketing activities and participate in the implementation of merchandising programs while maximizing return on investment and cost control;
  • Staying abreast of new consumer trends, innovative products and customer feed-back in alignment with their needs;

 

Requirements

  • University education in a related field (a combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent);
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the management of major accounts in the food industry, ideally in national accounts management or in the field of meat products or fresh products;
  • Fluency in oral and written French and English and common computer tools (MS office);
  • Be able to analyze sales results and various financial analyzes;
  • Be able and available to travel regularly in Canada and sometimes abroad;
